Insulated Roller Shutter Doors

The minimum specification for insulated shutter doors is as follows:

Curtain

The shutter curtain is constructed from interlocking twin galvanised steel laths with polystyrene infills to give a ‘u’ value of 0.69w/m.sq.k and acoustic insulation value of 18 d.b. factors which more than satisfy current health & safety legislation. each shutter lath is finished with a plastic interlocking end lock. bottom lath is fitted with a yellow polycarbon rail and seal.

Roller Barrel

Mild steel tube varying in section with door size, complete with end bearings.

Mounting Brackets

100 x 50 x 6 mild steel angles with holes to accept end plates and vertical guide channels.

Guide Channels

90mm x 33mm galvanised steel channels with predrilled holes which are ready to fit to vertical angles. 2no brush seals are fitted to each channel to assure smooth operation.

Motor

3 phase direct drive motor with integral safety brake, complete with haul chain in case of power failure.
